It’s Sunday morning, October 19th — Day 49 of the challenge — and as usual for a weekend, today’s update is more of a check-in than a working day.
But before diving into plans for next week, there’s one quick thing I wanted to mention: the Facebook group.
If you’re following along with this journey and want to ask questions about funnels, ads, or strategy, you can connect with me directly there. The link should be below the video. You can also catch all the videos on YouTube if you’d like to follow the full sequence from Day 1 onward.
Now, let’s talk numbers.
Yesterday came in at $804 in sales — not bad at all.
Ad spend was £341 (around $458), giving a daily profit of roughly $346.
So, while it’s a dip from the previous two $1,000+ days, it’s still solidly profitable.
Today, however, isn’t looking as bright.
By midday, total sales are sitting at just $98 — probably one of the lowest in some time. It’s a reminder of just how unpredictable daily results can be, even when you think you’ve hit a rhythm.
For sanity’s sake, I’ll try not to check the dashboard again until tomorrow… though, realistically, I probably will.
Next week, the plan is to focus on two main areas.
First, I’m going to add another product into the backend funnel — one of the “spotlight” offers that helps boost customer lifetime value.
This is part of the long-term goal to strengthen the funnel’s overall profitability rather than just chasing new front-end conversions.
Second, I want to take a proper look at the monthly numbers as a whole. I’ve been monitoring week-by-week, but not the full picture for October.
With nineteen days behind us, we’re about two-thirds of the way through the second month, which makes it a perfect time to review key metrics like:
Cost per customer acquisition
Average order value
Overall profitability
Lifetime value will take more time to assess, but a snapshot now should show whether we’re on track or drifting off target.
The goal isn’t to panic — though the temptation is always there — but to use the data to guide the next phase of adjustments for the rest of the month.
That’s all for today. I’ll catch up with you tomorrow for a deeper look at the numbers and a fresh start to the new week.
Have a great Sunday, and see you on Day 50.
